What is Safe Harbor?

Our new ministry is launching on Thursday, January 4, 2024, at 6 pm to bring a beacon of hope to those struggling with addiction, abuse, anxiety, and the like. We warmly welcome all, creating a community that connects individuals through shared experiences, mutual support, and the transformative power of God.

FAQs

Here are a few important details to help you participate at Safe Harbor.

What can I expect?

First and foremost, you can expect to be welcomed, respected, and safe to share honestly about your struggles.

Each week, our time will start with light refreshments. Then we will have a large group gathering where you hear either a relevant, Biblical teaching built to address our understanding of God, ourselves, suffering, and how we relate to other or someone’s story of their journey towards healing.

Our evening will end with small group discussions where we will be able to hear and share encouragement and burdens.

Is there a cost involved to participate?

Safe Harbor is completely free. We believe in providing support and resources to our community without any financial barriers.

What do you have for my children?

Child care is available every week when we meet. Our team will be ready to receive your kids at 6:15 pm. Pick up ends at 8:15 pm to give you a few extra moments in your small group to finish any important conversations.

Where should I park?

Parking is available in the King’s Harbor Church front or back parking lots, as well as on Garnier Street.

What if I am unable to make it the first week? Can I come at any time?

Safe Harbor is built for you to jump in at any point. There are no semester like a class. Come visit any Thursday!
