I was raised on the border of Mexico, living it up with my missionary parents and four older siblings. Growing up around so much church ministry, I always knew that God was real, and I was even baptized in my teen years. Even so, I struggled with feeling like I had to earn God’s love and favor and feared that God would abandon me if I messed up one too many times. However, when I was in college and part of a campus ministry, God revealed the true nature of His heart—Jesus died in my place so that I would never have to worry about being separated from His love. After graduation, I spent some time working for that same college ministry in California. God led me to join King’s Harbor Church in 2017. I finished my post-grad work in May of 2022 and joined the King’s Harbor staff around the same time.
