Week 4 | God Enters Our Brokenness

Theme

God’s love moves into incarnation and restoration.

Reflection

In Jesus, God stepped literally into the human story. He was never a distant God, but now, close enough to touch, entering into every aspect of this world… completely. He experiences hunger and fatigue, joy and grief, intimacy and betrayal. He knows what it is to be misunderstood, to be weary, to love deeply and to suffer loss. He does not save us from afar; He joins us where we are.

“The Word became flesh and dwelt among us.” — John 1:14

“Jesus wept.” — John 11:35

Simple words and a profound truth: God does not rush past pain or explain it away. He enters it. There is no grief He does not recognize, no weakness He has not known, no darkness He has refused to step into. God meets us not only in moments of strength and clarity, but in vulnerability, uncertainty, and frailty.

In Christ, we discover that our brokenness is not a barrier to God’s presence, it is the very place where He draws closest.
