Teen Reach Adventure Camp is specifically designed to provide hope and a future to at-risk youth through a weekend camp experience.Teen Reach Adventure Camps is a national organization that desires "to empower every at-risk youth through personal development and emotional healing in order to progress through their teen years and successfully transition into adulthood." Through the weekend at Teen Reach Adventure Camp (TRAC), our activities will emphasize self-value, teamwork, personal success, and positive values. Not only are the teenage years typically awkward, but many at-risk teens struggle to make wise choices in the face of difficult circumstances, so we strive to come alongside at-risk teens, offering skills that will help them navigate through life. At TRAC, campers can experience life-change as they engage in team building exercises, develop positive friendships, and partake in fun activities such as ziplining, swimming, and more. During our time at TRAC, we celebrate and encourage camper success in each activity. At-risk youth ages 12-15 years old are eligible to attend TRAC. While boys and girls attend separate weekend camps, our staff team is composed of both female and male adult volunteers. We prioritize camper safety so each camper at TRAC is paired with a same-gender counselor, and each counselor is assigned no more than two campers. We truly believe this camp experience can make a difference in the life of an at-risk youth.
