Position Summary

The role of the Executive Assistant to the Lead Pastor at King’s Harbor Church is responsible for amplifying the efficiency and effectiveness of the Lead Pastor through project and time management as well as excellence in communication.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Discern the needs and workload of the season and anticipate and provide solutions to potential obstacles.
  • Provide necessary research and information to prepare the Lead Pastor for upcoming meetings, events, and initiatives.
  • Guard the Lead Pastor’s schedule to allow him to commit his focus to the proper objectives at the appropriate time.
  • Exhibit a detailed approach to hospitality for staff, congregants, and guests.
  • Serve as an efficient and responsive liaison between the Lead Pastor and outside vendors such as guest speakers or external speaking engagements for the Lead Pastor.
  • Initiate routine administrative tasks such as credit card statement reconciliation, Planning Center event scheduling, etc.



  • Bachelor’s Degree in theological studies or similar experience preferred
  • Google Workspace certification preferred

  • Agree with the King’s Harbor Church Statement of Faith.
  • Demonstrates a solid ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Possesses knowledge of and continued education in project management strategies and time management tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex assignments simultaneously. 
  • Highly proficient in writing and grammar.
  • Highly proficient at developing summaries, briefs, and follow-up notes from meetings.
  • Highly proficient in scheduling and managing volunteers.
  • Highly proficient in administrative systems (e.g., Planning Center systems, the Google Suite, etc.).
  • Ability to resolve conflict through means of Biblical wisdom and counsel.
  • Demonstrate the ability to collaborate with other departments and staff members.
