8/7/20 On-Site Service Details

Last week, we shared that we will begin hosting an outdoor gathering starting Sunday, August 16. We want to give details on how you can participate in services online or on-site in just a few days.

Online Services
Sundays @ 9:00 and 11:15 a.m.

At 9:00 a.m., we will have an online-only service. This will be slightly different than what you have experienced up to this point. Since March, our virtual services have been pre-recorded, which allowed you to jump in at any time and move forward and backward through the video. Starting on the 16th, service will be a real-time experience. While you will be able to join us after 9:00 a.m., much like an in-person experience, you will have missed parts of the service and you won’t be able to skip ahead. In addition, each week at the end of service we will take communion together.

To participate in our Online Services, join us at kingsharbor.org/live or search for “King’s Harbor Church” on YouTube. We will repeat the 9:00 a.m. online service at 11:15 a.m.

On-site Services
Sundays @ 11:15 a.m.  |  Beginning August 16
Registration opens on Monday, August 10 at 9:00 a.m.

At 11:15 a.m, we will be meeting in the south parking lot right outside the Children’s Ministry doors. Here is the most important thing, you must register to attend services. Here’s how registering will help us. Registering will allow us to assign sections, provide crucial instructions to equip you to have the best experience when you arrive, and to trace contacts in the event that we become aware of a COVID infection. Registration also informs us on how many guests to expect and if we might need to open a second on-site service in the future. So please be sure to register for the waiting list if all other seating sections are full.

Second, a mask will be required at all times when you are on the KHC campus. We understand that there are varying perspectives regarding the necessity of wearing masks, however, our desire is to provide you with the safest experience possible while you are onsite. So to say it again, you will be required to wear a mask at all times while you are with us.

When you arrive, our team will lead you from the parking lot through our check-in process to your seat. Check-in will include temperature and symptom checks as well as being escorted to your seat to ensure you are safely distanced. Once you are seated, please be sure to keep your family together, or utilize placeholders for your seats if someone in your party needs to leave the seating area. Also, please remember that your children will be seated with you for the entirety of the worship gathering.

So, here is your next step. Each Monday morning at 9:00 a.m., registration will go live. Registration will be required every week. Once our available seating is full, you will be able to register for the waiting list.

If you would like more information about our On-site Services, go to kingsharbor.org/onsite-services. We can’t wait to see you on August 16!

Grace and peace,
- Pastor Mike (on behalf of KHC elders and executive team)
