4/13/21 Elder Update: A Message from Pastor Mike

There are a couple of things we wanted to cover in this update. First off, as we're now coming off of our Easter services and events, we want to take a moment to say thank you for the numerous ways many of you stepped into serving our congregation and for the joy in which you did so. It was a beautiful picture of the people of God coming together to put the gospel on display and we're grateful for your willingness to enter in.

Secondly, last week governor Newsom released an update that discussed the possibility of lifting restrictions on businesses and organizations on June 15. Though details are still to be determined, we realize that this could impact the way we gather for services and events and so we are taking steps now to pray and prepare for how best to increase our capacity. We will continue to keep you updated as we learn more in the coming days and you will also begin to hear from our specific ministry departments about the unique ways they will be transitioning through this season as well.

As we continue to prepare for increasing our capacity, we recognize that this creates more opportunities for people to enter into serving and we want to invite you to do so. We'd love to help answer any questions you might have and connect you to a serving opportunity that aligns with your interests and giftings. To learn more, send us a quick email to  .

We're excited for what the Lord is going to do through this next season of ministry!

Grace and peace,

- Pastor Mike (on behalf of KHC elders)
