Lisa is a California girl, born and raised in a Christian family in Santa Monica.  After graduating from the University of Southern California with a degree in English, she moved to the South Bay and started her career as a public school teacher.  Lisa taught numerous subjects including English and History in both elementary and middle school.  After the birth of her oldest daughter, Emily, Lisa became a stay at home mom and enthusiastic PTA volunteer.

She and her British husband Stuart started attending King's Harbor in 2006.  Stu and Lisa have been married 19 years and have two teenage girls Emily (15) and Lauren (13).  Lisa started volunteering as a teacher in Children's Ministry in 2007 and also served on the Children's Ministry council.  When her youngest daughter, Lauren, started Kindergarten, Lisa began working at King's Harbor and in 2011 became the Children's Ministry Director.

Lisa loves kids and especially likes baby cuddles and giggles over the funny things that kids say.  She loves Jesus, the beach, graphic design, reading and college football.  Lisa spends time driving all over Southern California taking her girls to their club soccer games and loving (almost) every minute.
